MD-1
Integrate the technical foundation of your diving with emotional awareness, presence and connection to nature. Across ten modules and two supervised water sessions, make room for who you are before, during and after a dive.

Breathing awareness with clear boundaries: explore comfortable practice on land and natural, continuous breathing on scuba. Begin with the Diver specialty; the Guide course has additional prerequisites.

18 lessons in six modules: modules 1–3 hold the original six lessons, modules 4–6 add twelve practical lessons, and the course closes with the final assessment and your private plan. About 4 hours in total, at your own pace: about 90 minutes for modules 1–3, the final assessment and the private plan, and about 2½ hours for modules 4–6, including their chapter checks. Pause and return whenever you need.

A specialty is not a level. It deepens one dimension of the practice at whichever point of the Descent you stand, and is never required to advance.
Compare what each bundle includes before buying. If you already have an included course, choose the individual course you need instead. Bundles do not waive prerequisites or practical requirements.
Prices cover online learning. Agree water sessions, practical assessment and professional affiliation costs separately before enrolling.

MD-3 requires MD-2 and a Divemaster qualification or equivalent from a recognized diving agency.
MD-4 requires MD-3 and an active instructor rating from a recognized agency. Complete the online learning, four supervised teaching dives, the teaching portfolio and the required assessment and Institute approval.
MD-5 requires certified MD-4, at least one year teaching that level, an agency instructor-trainer or course-director rating, and an invitation from the Standards Council. Online access is not authorization.

Mindful Breath Guide requires MD-1 or equivalent mindful-diving training, plus an active professional diving rating or a recognized breath-teacher qualification.
