Safety first

Slow, continuous breathing only on scuba — never breath-holding, skip-breathing or hypoventilation. Intense practices (strong ventilation cycles, long breath-holds, cold protocols) are land practices, never immediately before a dive and never in the water; hyperventilation before immersion is a known factor in shallow-water blackout. Every practice fits entirely within your existing agency standards and dive plan, and none of it is therapy or medical treatment. Reviewed by the Safety & Dive Medicine Board.
