Safety first

Everything trained here sits entirely within the candidate's agency standards, ratios and dive plan; agency standards and emergency procedures always outrank any optional practice. Slow, continuous breathing only — never breath-holding, skip-breathing or hypoventilation on scuba. Optional attention cues are removed whenever task load, control, conditions or procedure make them inappropriate. Trainer scope is non-clinical: nothing in MD-5 is therapy, diagnosis or medical assessment, and no outcome is ever promised. Reviewed by the Safety & Dive Medicine Board.
