1. What we store
- Account data: name, email address and authentication credentials.
- Course data: progress, assessment answers and issued credentials, stored in our managed database.
- Contact and form data you submit voluntarily (for example, the contact page or a waitlist).
FP20 and research participation
If you choose to save FP20 to your profile, we retain your twenty answers, results, dates, language and cohort code linked to your account until you delete the measurements or request deletion. Personal tracking works with research permission switched off.
With your explicit authorisation, the Mindful Diving Institute may analyse these measurements to study experience before and after the programme. Institute-restricted exports use a participant code and exclude names, email addresses and sign-in identifiers. The account link remains private. You can withdraw permission in your profile to prevent future exports. To request withdrawal of copies already provided, contact the Institute using the contact details in this policy. Participation is optional and independent of training and certification.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers; Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards.
3. Measurement and advertising
We measure how the site is used with our own cookieless counter. We record the page visited, the language, the referring domain, whether the device is mobile or desktop, an approximate country, and a few named events (such as an enrollment or a toolkit unlock). We set no cookies, store no full IP address, build no profiles, and share nothing with third parties — the session token is random and disappears when the tab closes.
Cookies. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to see which pages and ads bring enquiries. In the European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland and Canada we only set these cookies if you accept. If you decline, Google still receives basic, anonymous signals (such as a page view or a form being sent), with no cookies and no personal data. In those regions, Microsoft Clarity, Metricool (visit statistics) and the Meta Pixel also only run if you accept. You can change your choice any time under “Cookies” in the footer.
4. Email
We send transactional email (purchase confirmations, account access, credentials, service notices). We do not use advertising networks or ad trackers, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Who we share data with
We share only what's needed with providers that help us run the service: payment processing (Stripe), transactional email delivery, and database hosting. We do not share data for advertising purposes.
6. Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to hello@mindfuldiving.org. We will respond within a reasonable time. Note that account deletion may affect your ability to verify credentials already issued.
7. Retention
We keep account and course data while the account is active or as needed to provide the service (including credential verification), and delete or anonymize it when no longer needed or at a user's request.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the last-updated date at the top of this page.
9. Contact
